RS485 Shield for Arduino UNO

This is an RS485 Shield for the Arduino UNO. RS485 is an industrial standard for communication over long distances. Unlike RS422 which has a single driver circuit that cannot be switched off, RS485 drivers use a three-state logic that allows individual transmitters to be disabled. This enables RS485 to realize linear bus topologies with just two wires.
