SilentStepStick TMC2130 V2

The SilentStepStick TMC2130 V2 from Watterott is a stepper-motor-driver based on the Trinamic TMC2130. This new SilentStepStick driver greatly improves the noise reduction when driving with stepper motors. The TMC2130 stepper motor driver is designed for up to 1.2A (RMS) continuous current and 2.5A peak. In order to use these features, you need to install a heatsink, which is not included. The drivers also support Micro Stepping (interpolation of up to 256 microsteps), allowing for very fine and low vibration movements.

The driver is suitable for the RAMPS 1.4 board or the Arduino CNC Shield used in 3D printers and small CNC mills. However, you can also use it for other mechanical Arduino projects that require stepper motor control.
