PCA8574AD I2C Port Expander I/O Extension 8 Pin

If you simply do not have enough digital I/O pins on your Arduino, you can expand your I/O by 8 with this PCA8574AD port expander chip. The modules can easily be addressed via jumpers (0x38-0x3F). This allows you to connect 8 modules to the I2C bus. With 8 connected modules, you thus have 64 more I/O. If you connect several modules to the I2C, please disconnect the connection of the pull-up resistor on the back of the board except for one module. Because only one module needs the pull-up resistors.
