The compact vehicle is fully compatible with micro:bit boards and is ideal for children aged 8 and up. The new V5 version offers improved line tracking, more robust motors, multitasking capabilities, and a crash-resistant design. All components are preassembled – unpack, insert batteries, and get started. Thanks to the integrated 3-sensor array and optimized line-following logic, the robot follows black lines precisely without complicated calibration. The algorithm runs directly on the embedded microcontroller, leaving the micro:bit free processing power for other tasks like obstacle detection, light control, or data output. Two metal gear motors, an ultrasonic sensor, light and RGB LEDs, and an IR receiver offer versatile applications. The motors are fully enclosed and easily replaceable if needed – ideal for classrooms with many learners.
