5.8GHz Microwave Radar Module

This is a 5.8GHz Microwave Radar Module from DFRobot. The module can detect if something is moving in the measurement range of 11m through electromagnetic waves. Compared to traditional sensors that only detect larger body movements of a human, the microwave sensor is much more accurate. The sensor also sees the smallest movements, such as breathing movements, and can thus also detect people who are sitting or sleeping and otherwise not moving. The measurement data are read out via serial or high/low level IO port. The sensor can be used in many areas of application where a very accurate motion detector is needed.
