This 1x18650 battery shield is perfect for powering your Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP8266, or ESP32 with 18650 Li-ion battery. The shield also has built-in charging electronics, allowing you to recharge the lithium batteries via the micro USB connection. (Batteries not included).

Attention: When inserting the 18650 lithium battery, note the polarity + and -, otherwise the charging chip will be destroyed!

Operation:

  • After inserting the 18650 cells, the shield must be briefly supplied with power via the micro USB or USB Type-C (it will then switch on).
  • The charging state can be checked by briefly pressing the side button (K1)
  • To switch off the 5V and 3V outputs, the side button (K1) must be pressed for more than 3 seconds. (new version 2x short press)
  • To switch on, simply press the side button (K1) briefly
